TikTok Downloader: save TikTok videos and Stories in your browser

SSSTik is a free TikTok Downloader that runs in your web browser. Paste the link to a TikTok video or Story, and SSSTik returns the watermark-free version that TikTok makes available, usually as an MP4 file. There is no software to install and no account to create, and the same steps work in browsers on desktop computers, phones, and tablets.

The tool is built around one job: turning a TikTok link into a file you can keep. Every tiktok download starts with a link copied from the TikTok app or website, so you don’t have to screen record a clip and then crop out the app interface.

How to use the TikTok Downloader

Saving a video takes three steps: copy the link, paste it, and download the file.

  1. Copy the link. In the TikTok app, open the video, tap the Share button, and choose Copy link. On a computer, copy the URL from the address bar while the video is open.
  2. Paste the link into SSSTik. Open SSSTik in your browser and paste the link into the input field.
  3. Download the file. Select the download button, wait a moment while SSSTik processes the link, then choose the available download option, such as the watermark-free MP4.

On a computer, the file goes to your browser’s default download folder. On a phone or tablet, it usually lands in your downloads first, and you can move it to your camera roll or photo library from there.

What you can save with SSSTik

TikTok videos

The video downloader works with regular TikTok posts. When TikTok offers an HD version, SSSTik links to it; when the original upload is low resolution, the download will be too. The tool saves the file as it exists on TikTok and does not upscale or enhance the footage.

TikTok Stories

The Stories downloader uses the same copy-and-paste workflow. TikTok Stories disappear after 24 hours, so save any Story you want to keep while it is still live. Once a Story expires or is removed, SSSTik can no longer reach it.

How SSSTik handles the TikTok watermark

The TikTok watermark is the moving logo and username that appear on videos saved through TikTok’s own download option. SSSTik does not blur, crop, or edit that logo out of a video. It provides a direct link to the watermark-free file available from TikTok, so the footage stays as it was uploaded. If a clean version isn’t available for a post, the tool cannot create one.

Why download TikTok videos with a browser tool

  • Free to use, with unlimited downloads
  • No registration or account required
  • No software to install, since everything happens in the browser
  • Fast processing, so download options appear shortly after you paste a link
  • One workflow across desktop, mobile, and tablet browsers

Common reasons to save TikTok videos

  • Offline viewing during a flight or when mobile data is limited
  • Keeping copies of your own videos to edit or reuse in new projects
  • Saving tutorials and lessons that teachers and students want to revisit
  • Archiving public clips for news reporting or research
  • Preserving a favorite post before the creator deletes it or goes private

SSSTik can only save content that is available when you paste the link. If a video has been deleted, the account has been suspended or banned, or the creator has switched to a private account, the video may no longer be available to download. If a link fails, check that you copied the full URL from the Share menu and try again.

Use saved videos responsibly

Keep downloaded videos for personal viewing. If you want to share or repost someone else’s work, ask the creator first and follow TikTok’s terms of service. Because watermark-free files don’t show the creator’s username, keep track of who made each video you save.
